I'm a rookie at R4 ( ranked 80 in the score board today) and I've been having a rough time finding the secrets.
Well, I've managed to find the "pink rocket" but no secret cars or any other hidden stuff ( such as Level 11).
I'm trying to finish the 1O races, level easy, with the different car. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?
If anyone could help , I would be thankful.
I  read that some secrets are hidden in various places in the races but could you be a little more specific ? ( I'm not asking for the exact place, just a few hints)
Great game ( no wonder it's already sold-out )

Well, I believe most people find the other secrets before the pink bullets. That's because the others are located in earlier levels. You will have to look for them further away from the course, though.

Finally found a few secrets, some new endings, a flying saucer, the A-Team van and Level 11 at last.
I still don't know where the last "car" is. There are  three hidden vehicles, right?
What is the thing called "Burger Time" ?
I'm getting to level Normal ( which seems pretty hard though).

Congratulations on finding these secrets!
And yes, there are 3 secret vehicles. The last one is also hidden in one of the levels.

I'm guessing that you don't know that if you go to the goals list you can select the goal you want and press A to see the goal's explanation.
Anyway, the burger time goal is reached if you run over 5 cows during a game in Grand Prix mode.

Just keep practicing and you'll soon beat it!

Thanks again for the tips.
I'm practising but R4 2 will be out before I can beat you.
So let's have a few Cow killing tonight.

I've pressed the A button in the goal section. I've managed to hit a few goals ( wel,l almost every one of them - still trying the insane and no casualty ones) but I was wondering if all the goals were listed in this section ( such as the pink bullet, which isn't ) or is there any other hidden stuff?
Pretty addictive game, love it.

I'm glad you like it!

I believe that apart from pink bullets, everything's in the list (except if you also count non-interactive hidden stuff, like the texts in the circuit levels).

What's no-interactive hidden stuff? Never saw any text in the levels. Culd you be more explicit? THX

I thought I was already being quite clear, but take a look at this screenshot and you'll notice that there is a text written on the red fence. It's not hidden in the sense that it's not visible, but most of the texts are obscured by your own speed. You'd have to make frequent stops to read them all.

Sorry to ask - again - but  I've finally managed to get the perfect 11 and I unlocked something called "NULL" ( not sure about the spelling).
What is this thing ? I doesn't appear on the menu.
Great good ending, you sure know your superheroes.

It's a bug, caused by a missing comma.    It's supposed to say you unlocked a movie. Really sorry about that. Fortunately it's only a bit of text that's missing; the movie is properly unlocked and as far as we know the bug doesn't have any side effects.

ok. THX. Got all the movies now. Trying to unlock the "no casualty" part. Can't help running on a passer-by (or two)  in the second city stage. Even if I don't take the lead.
Think I'll finish level hard before this one.

OMG Roel... That's not very Roel-like, is it?

How exactly did a missing comma cause that bug?

Did the intended message get concatenated to a previous message because of the missing comma, leaving a null element in the array of messages?

Thanks, I too was surprised to find that I'm fallible.

Precisely! And this doesn't trigger a warning or anything (at least not in this particular case), so the only way to find out about it is by deleting the save file and re-playing the entire game. But of course it's not feasible (or desireable) to do that for every minor code change. Fortunately it doesn't cause any serious problems, but the bug's existence it is very frustrating to me...
