Some original sprites from my unfinished mod

Hi!

Somewhere in 2004 i was working on a mod featuring original characters and sprites, some effects are ripped from fighting games, and some moves are based on others, like a char that use estance of Iori, but all frames were made from sketch.

These chars are friends and someones not, from times of arcades... they have moves of chars they love, like the main char (have moves from terry, strider, ryo and Ash's chainsaw-from evil dead movie) and some record their voices to the game

I can't continue the project, too busy with personal matters and work, and recently i post on my gallery at deviantart a image showing various sprites finished and some half finished.

I really love Beats of Rage, i've download a lot of mods and then keep me inspired to continue, but i wish i have more time for it. Streets of Rage was the game that inspired me to draw comics more than 14 years ago.

Wow. Let me just say that those are some fantastic sprites. Do you do this for a living, because youre work looks very professional. Last I heard Roel was looking for some sprite artists to help with his game- interested?

Many thanks! I'm thinking on try to release at least a demo, but it will take some time cause there is much work to do yet, with backgrounds and missing animations. Thanks for the support!!

Great sprites! I like the one with the Basketball the most, a clear 3 point hit.
