dreamcast VMU icon

i was just wondering how you change the default VMU icon at the main screen of the dreamcast. right now its a car, but can it be changed to something else?

I think you can change it when formatting the VMU.

There are several ways to change it.

1. Format your VMU. You can choose an image and also a colour for it on the memory screen on the DC.
2. Some games will automatically put an image on that stays permanantly until reformat or method 3. Examples of games that do this are Skies of Arcadia and Power Stone.
3. There are programs on the internet that allow you to draw your own and put them onto your memory card.

how do i format it?

In the dc's file menu, select "all", then choose "delete all (memory reset)".
