They don't have a bootdreams equivalent for Mac?  Bootdreams is what creates the proper image file that you can later use on your iso burning software.

Beats of Rage is provided in a correct, tested, ready-to-burn format. If it doesn't work, the problem must lie with Toast which may not fully support the cd image.

Perhaps you can convert to another format and burn with another cd burning tool? I'd offer to burn for you, but unless you live in England, it would cost a ton on postage.

I am in the same boat as the OP, but I eventually gave up. The reason for this is the dreamcast likes it's CDs to be burnt TAO (Track At Once) rather than (Disk at Once) which I believe is what Toast tries doing, ALSO you should always burn as slow as possible, even a speed as low as 8x can cause errors. Basically, there are no Mac-compatible burning software which support the more advanced features (such a joke) such as TAO burning.

What I ended up doing was installing Windows XP using bootcamp (I don't recommenced this, it's a royal pain) and burning the ISO using Alcohol 120% (SUPER MEGA HIGHLY recommenced, btw) I am now however trying to find a mac version of BOR, because my Dreamcast died a few weeks ago

Peace,
Dan

I was thinking about this but my only intel mac i have is in my studio and i dont really want to corrupt it with partitioning the drive and that, It sounds like a major pain in the a$$

It depends how long you can wait for. I'm rushed off my feet with my final term of university, so I'd need to get near a shop that sells jiffy bags and stamps. Also my dreamcast is at my parents so I can't really test the disc. I can still give it a go though, just not in the next few days
