The website Kikizo interviewed AM2 about virtua fighter 5 where they said this:

Kikizo: [Poitning to screen] Look at this stage of the game - the sky is so nice and blue...
Minato: It's a SEGA blue sky! This is REAL SEGA!
Kikizo: Haha, so do you know about UK Resistance?!
Minato: Yes and we are aware of the message for Blue Sky!

Very funny (I think)!

I emailed Zorg about that a while back. He sent me back an email saying someone immediately sent him a message after it was actually said. I still have that email, because it reminds me of the days when gaming magazines were good. Well, SSM was awesome. I wonder what happened to the rest of them?

Also, Zorg managed to get into VF5's quest mode more than once. First he's in as Zorg with the quote "Victory for Europe", then allegedly as G Cutlack (I can't be bothered to check that) and finally as Cmdr Zorg with the quote "Logic Error: No resistance". I wish I'd known there was a sign up at some point. Would have been cool to be in.

Hahaha, that's excellent.
Unfortunately the kula-maxima-blue mary team never had a special ending in a KOF, so we didn't manage to influence anyone

If anyone else doesn't get what this was all about (I certainly didn't)...

Here is the site of UK Resistance's campaign:

There certainly won't be any drugs or guns in it, so I guess it counts as blue sky.

Blue Skies reminds me of Saturn and Dreamcast.  Daytona USA, Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Tennis, Skies of Arcadia, Shenmue, etc...they all had some great blue skies.  lol

Both those consoles and all of those games have sentimental value to me. They were ALL fun. Don't forget Crazy Taxi, Virtua Cop and the Phantasy Star games (Motavia was always sunny) and Stage 6 in Streets of Rage 2. Most of the stages in Spikeout had blue sky in them.

Despite VF5 and Ninja Gaiden on the 360, I still haven't had fun since the Dreamcast and Saturn. In fact, the most fun I got out of the original X-box was chipping it and playing emulators on it. All these newfangled technologies and graphics, yet we have more fun playing age old Megadrive games. Another example is Sensible World of Soccer on XBLA. More fun than crap like Guitar Hero and Halo.

Mass quotes are even more awesome! But a new MD game is pretty cool.
