Dux: a new DC game

According to shmups.system11.org a new shooter (what else...) is coming for the dreamcast in July.
I must say that I like that it's a horizontal shooter and I also like the pastel colouring... it makes it stand out from other shooters

Of course now we hope that the game is actually real, and that they can stick to the deadline (which I know is difficult).

Looks pretty good. Certainly a lot better than Last Hope.

It's pretty incredible that after it's supposed 'death' that the Dreamcast still has games made for it. Not sure I like the plastic looking CG graphics, but I do like the colors.

I don't think the graphics are too great, but I agree. The colours are nice. I miss bright clear colours in videogames. After playing Samba de Amigo and Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram over RGB SCART recently, it just makes me think that while newer, more realistic games have more impressive graphics doesn't necessarily make them better looking.

Even Sega's games on other consoles don't seem as nice-looking.

Woohoo! That feels good. I must say I'm quite curious about Dux, too.

Scrolling shooters are ok, I wish someone would attempt a differnt genre for the dc though. Its not completly dead yet.
