Here. It's still empty, but I expect the first entries to start appearing within a few days. Entries consist of game data (time, level and car) and personal data (name and country).

Ha! I am the first one in the scoreboard.

I just finished easy mode for the first time, but now he won't accept my entered code.... okay, maybe next time then.

btw, very nice game!

"in detail what the game is like"... okay, I'll write down some of my first impressions.

+ First of all, it is a good game. I am very satisfied with the experience, it has been a long time since I have last played a new game like this.
+ It's very fast. Some courses go straight on for some time, your car really gains a lot of speed there.
+ Control is sharp. It never felt unfair, I was always in control of steering and drifting.
+ Graphics are great! It felt like playing my Amiga500 almost 20 years ago (with games like All Terrain Racing, Supercars or Skidmarks), which is a good thing. I really like the retro-look. The night levels have nice lighting effects.
+ good music! While the soundfx are nothing special, the music suits the action and gets you in the right mood. Do you know "Driift Mania" from the Wiiware-Service? Somewhat similar game, but that one has terrible music.
+ there seem to be plenty of unlockables. I just finished easy mode, now there seems to be an 11th track? Anyway, there are many ???s all over the menu, there still is much stuff to do!
+ good difficulty for single player. The easiest setting took me several attempts to beat and remained difficult all the time, I am looking forward to the harder settings.

...but...

- too difficult for multiplayer. I know my friends, and I know no one will play RRRR with me in multiplayer. The game is too fast & even the first multiplayer tracks are cluttered with stuff & shortcuts (a truck blocking the way so the course changes into the desert) and are not very accessible for casual players (you have to learn the tracks to compete).
- some edges in course design trap your car in annoying ways. Until you remember these spots (happens on 2 or 3 tracks), you frequently end up in a corner and have to slowly backtrack (in one case you can't even see your car while doing that!). It is okay though, after some practice it rarely happens anymore.
- introduction text flickers in multiplayer, probably due to resolution change (my screenmode is pal60).
- no time trial mode! Do I always have to deal with enemy cars when I want to submit a new highscore?
- no individual selection of tracks? Maybe I have overlooked something, will check on that later.
- Multiplayer seems to be without AI cars.

That's about it for now.

As I said, a good game if you like this 2D-retro style!

Hi Amian, I'm glad to see you like the game!

All codes produced by the game should be accepted, this has been tested quite extensively. Perhaps you mistyped? Also, the difference between a D and an O can be somewhat difficult to see. But if the problem persists, feel free to send me a PM with your rejected code and I will check if I can find out what's wrong.

Great game, very addictive, looks great and the cars steer really well! Reminds me of the time i played micro machines on my mega drive all day. I think Amian sums it up nicely, i don't have an lot to add.

I could not get my code working either at first, but switching a O for an D worked for my code, so for me the difference between the two was hard to see..

Wouldn't it make more sense to have seperate scoreboards for each difficulty level?

Each car has the same specs regardless of the difficulty, so it actually makes more sense to have separate scoreboards per car than per difficulty level. But I will add options to view the scoreboard per car, per difficulty, per level and per country in the near future.

Yeah I think it makes more sense to have separate scoreboards for difficulties.

Your wish is my command. Just click on the difficulty, car or country to filter the scoreboard as desired.

I think it would also make sense to have more entries on each page. Maybe 30-50 on each? I was hoping that each difficulty would be on a separate score board as it would give more incentive to try to beat the game on harder difficulties as at the moment all the glory is on the players who compete the game on easy.

I thought a top 10 made sense. Right now there aren't even 30 entries. But we'll see how busy it gets in the coming weeks/months.

That's just because almost everyone is still playing easy mode. Just be patient, the other difficulty levels will come.

But how can you get faster times than players playing on easy? Maybe im missing something as I haven't yet played the game.

I just think the scoreboard needs some revision.

I imagine there will soon be loads of entries and the poor little 10 scores per page scoreboard will get totally overflowed. I think people were hoping for more than one score board, I certainly was. Ideal a totally different scoreboard for each difficulty.

Im not trying to complain, im just trying to suggest alterations that will enhance the overall game

Suggestions are always welcome! But perhaps you should hold off on the suggestionmaking until you have played the game...

Uploaded a score, though maybe I should wait till I've beaten the game at least once, haha! Only been playing on Easy so far too.

Another suggestion:

When there's multiple times from the same player with the same car and difficulty, only the entry with the highest stage and best time should be kept, or else we'll end up with pages and pages of the same players.

Im not so keen on this idea. Just make the amount of entries per page higher. like 20-30. Also if this is implemented this will make my "first track time trial competition" not work.

I agree. Fortunately it should be easy to filter them out.

Why wouldn't it work? Players won't be able to push each other out of the scoreboard, just themselves.

Im happy with this as long as you dont remove the "level 1" times. Have a look at my "first track time trial competition" topic.
