| | Just wondering what modes this game will have?
I understand it will have the 1 player and up to 4 player co-op.
Will you add a 1v1 mode like in streets of rage 2? Where I can fight a friend? maybe even team battles like 2v2?
Also, a duel mode would be cool. Where you (1 player) will be in an arena and you have to kill waves of enemies. Kinda like in golden axe 2? With leaderboards for that too. Kills and time taken
That would be cool but obviously more work? I dont know anything about programming and stuff lol. |

| | The only mode that is certain is the arcade mode (1 to 4 players, like Streets of Rage). As for other modes (versus, endurance, story, boss rush, etc), we'll decide when the arcade mode is done. |

| | Ah ok cool. Awesome. Really hope you add a versus mode and 2v2. That would be pretty fun lol.
Cheers for the reply. |

| | how about an online mode? would this at all be possible? I mean an independent game with an online mode would be awesome . I'd love to play this game online with some buddies. would it be possible (and this is all hypothetically for me, since I don't know jack about this thing)to include some form of server app on the final disk, so that those of us who want to set up their own server, can do it at home on their pc.(like its the case now with PSO,Quake?4x4 Evo, etc...). Or a piece of softw that lets your dc act as a server
I'm prolly just dreaming... |

| | You know, I would love to play online with you all too, but beside the facts that it would really be a lot of work to add such a feature and that I don't have any significant experience with network code for games... I can't implement netplay because I don't have a Dreamcast broadband adaptor! |

shame on you roel
besides, I think there's not that many folks out there who have a dc bba (those that have one that I know of, all still use it for pso)& if they have it, I'm sure they're not selling (I know I'm not selling mine anyway )
on the other hand there's always the good ol' dialup modem that you can hook up to a pc through the pc-dc server thingy (but then again I'm pretty sure that'll be too difficult or too much hassle for the average gamer
2bad, I kinda liked the idea; it would in a way be the dreamcast's supreme victory, having a "homebrew" game released for it so many years after its (official) death, that you can play online forever, coz you can have your own server |
