I've got some  issues with my copy of RRRR DX.  preordered in december, andgot it today from playasia (18 january).,

the game was never opened, with plastic on it, not voided, full box, no matters.... a great new full game in plastic!

but i got few scratches on the Cd game !     the cd was in his case, and the game was sealed !!!

i knew the game was delayed, and you were in a hurry when you shipped it,but..... ;(

ok, i put in my PAL DC, plug the vga...
no matter, maybe the game will run...

what a game! great adrenaline rush  
very fun! but...sudenly, in the middle of a GP race... blackout!

when i play the game, in GP mode, it crashes randomly (blackout screen) in various levels, sometime lvl 2, sometime 4 or 5...

maybe do you burned the cd at a too much high speed ? or it's the scratches ? i got hundred games, on gd-rom and some on cd too, my DC read them all, that's the first time!

i tried it on a tv screen too with the scart plug... same results...

help me, i'm so sad, the RRRR party has changed into a nightmare for me...

so, do i must send back the game to redspot game???
or to playasia ??

Hi Maldoror68,

The crashes are most likely caused by the scratches (certainly not by the burning speed, as it's not a CD-R). The scratches probably aren't related to the hurried shipping, as the games were already sealed before that came into play. So I suspect that the damage was done in the CD factory.

I believe that since you bought the game at Play-Asia, they're officially responsible for handling your complaint. But it probably can't hurt to ask redspotgames about it first.

first  i must apologize...
i made baaaaad comunication about RRRR, it's a wonderful game..

i've went back in my problem, how minor scratches could make the dreamcast reboot,?
and obviously RANDOMLY ? 
if it were the scratches, the game'll crash always in the same place....

the problem was..elsewhere
so...finally it was...

the lens! 
my dreamcast lens was about approx 720 ohms.

i put it back to 880 ohms....

and Rush !    problem's gone!

so happy end, a great frighten'

but i want to apologize again to Redspot games, playasia ,and of course Senile team.

(and the factory's scratches 'll stay a mistery..., i'm finally proud of it... it, it's a sort of:
"see this game is handmade, proud underground homebrew scene... ")
