deluxe.jpg You've asked for it (many times even), and here it is: the official announcement of the Deluxe Edition of Rush Rush Rally Racing. This very complete package comes in an extra thick jewel case and includes all the stuff the collectors will undoubtedly appreciate: a spine card, a soundtrack cd, a full-colour manual with more pages, and enough stickers to slap one onto your door, your car, your forehead and your dog, and still have some left just incase your car explodes and your dog runs away.

You can pre-order this highly desirable item directly from publisher redspotgames and soon also from your favourite (online) games supplier. It will be available November, slightly later than the regular edition which is scheduled to appear this month.

Note for those who pre-ordered the regular edition already and wish to upgrade to this incredibly yummy edition instead:
To change your order, write an e-mail to redspotgames (you received the address with your pre-order) with the subject "Change to Deluxe Edition" followed by your order number, e.g. "Change to Deluxe Edition - #011111-0222222-0333".

Sweet. Now I placed my preorder, despite not being able to play it until next year's July.

Good news that there is a LE version .....

however, I have sent an email to UPGRADE my RRRR order but I have not got any feedback or reply from Max or Redspot yet. Hopefully they make the change very SOON!

Quick question before I place my order. Is the actual game the same on both versions? I'm not sure how I should decipher the bit about 'Sercet artworks and deleted scenes'

Thanks

It's the same game. The extra artwork is in the manual.

I think for the price all that you get with it is a steal, especially comparing it with other deluxe game packages. I think the bumper-stickers, the full color manual, & the soundtrack should be especially nice.

To give heads up on the process of UPGRADING to the Deluxe RRRR,

Redspotgames will have the customer's order deleted and voided and have you go back into their store-online and place the order for the Deluxe Rush Rush Rally Racing.

If you have already paid through paypal you will need to send/pay the difference through paypal..... then place the new order DX version on redspot's site completeing the order by using billing pay terms. In comments--- make note that you have already paid and get transaction id #'s from paypal.

Do not select Paypal at the end of the new Deluxe order, or it will charge you again.

I didn't know what to expect so I can't tell if the sales figures are good or bad. I think I'll wait for the post-release figures to make up my mind about that.

I think that your choice of publisher and the quality of the product you made will ensure at least average sales.

Although RRRR is a different genre of a Dreamcast game I sure feel it will be far better than Wind & Water Power Battles in game development. Senile seems to have pushed RRRR's graphics and quality a lot more than Last Hope's and Wind & Water's. I sure hope Yuan Works pushes more for the graphics on Little Ninja.

I think Wind & Water's graphics are very nice, actually.

Yeah, I like Wind and Water, I just feel they could have pushed the game to better graphics on the Dreamcast!

I know Yuan Works were going for retro look, but the adventure story mode could have been and looked so much better than a Master System/ NES game.

Hello Roel,

Do you know how many limited copies of RRRR DX are for print?

200? 400? 500?

Also, will the Games be numbered?  example:( 152/500) ?

Thanks

I don't know, actually. I don't believe they'll be numbered.

They're not numbered and there is a decent amount for the DE. More than 500.

Apparently senile team loves you enough to always give you the option of which one you want instead of making run around like crazy trying to find money at the last moment
